SigmaRoc’s €470mln Nordkalk deal given green light by Polish competition authority

The deal was funded via a combination of cash, debt and equity

Quarried materials specialist SigmaRoc (AIM:SRC) PLC (LON:SRC) said its €470mln acquisition of Nordkalk has been approved by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

Completion of the deal, which was funded from a combination of cash, debt and equity, is expected on August 31.

Chief executive Max Vermorken said: "We are delighted with this swift decision from the Polish competition authority and look forward to working with our new colleagues at Nordkalk to generate value for our shareholders."
