Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF, FRA:G8G) (AIM:GGP) has appointed a new group mining engineer with over twenty years' experience in international mining and consulting roles.
Otto Richter, who will start next Monday, has held key technical and operational positions with multiple underground and open-pit operations in Australia and abroad, including as mine planning manager for Newcrest Mining’s Telfer Mine, which is not far from Greatland’s Havieron gold-copper project.
The company said his consulting experience has covered mining projects at all levels, including technical and due diligence reviews and independent technical advisory roles to multiple international companies.
It highlighted that Richter has experience in a broad range of mining methods, such as stoping, sub-level caving, block caving and open pit, across various commodities, including gold and base metals.
His recent roles were as group study manager for Resolute Mining and principal consultant for Snowden Mining Industry Consultants.
