Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited (LON:VEIL) deputy portfolio manager Tuan Bui Minh tells Proactive the fund added another 5% to its net asset value in June, bringing its NAV gain to 42% for the first half of the year – over 13% ahead of the country’s benchmark index.
Minh says this was driven by a number of key secular growth themes including middle class formations and the rapid urbanization within Vietnam. He says sectors that tap well into these themes are banking, properties, and steel.
