Burley Minerals Ltd (ASX:BUR) director Bryan Dixon has increased his shareholding in the base metals explorer and developer by 50,000 shares valued at $17,500, in a tick of approval for the company's current work program.
After his on-market purchase today, Dixon now holds 1,057,422 ordinary fully paid shares in an indirect interest.
The move comes just five days after BUR announced it had identified several electromagnetic (EM) anomalies at the Yerecoin Project in Western Australia.
BUR is exploring in the emerging Jimperding Metamorphic Belt – a highly prospective nickel-copper-PGE province.
It is the first major program at Yerecoin since 2012, with BUR planning EM surveys to define drill targets.
Today’s increase in Dixon's shareholding not only appears to be a vote of confidence in the current work being done by BUR, but also in its future outlook.
BUR is currently trading at 33 cents.
