Imugene Ltd's Leslie Chong speaks to Proactive's Andrew Scott soon after announcing they've entered into a research collaboration with Celularity Inc to develop a novel oncolytic virus allogeneic CAR T-Cell immunotherapy combination for the treatment of solid tumors. As part of the partnership they'll initially collaborate to develop the combination of Imugene’s CD19 oncolytic virus technology and Celularity’s CD19 targeting allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cellular therapy, CyCART-19, for the treatment. Imugene exclusively licensed the CD19 oncolytic virus technology from City of Hope, a world-renowned independent cancer research and treatment centre near Los Angeles.
