Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) (NASDAQ:TSLA) chair Robyn Denholm has exercised options to buy shares in the electric vehicle company and sold them on the open market.
Denholm lobbed out 31,250 shares at prices ranging from US$703 to US$726 on Monday (2 August), netting more than US$22mln, according to a regulatory filing made yesterday.

Denholm became chair of Tesla after the chief executive officer and company founder Elon Musk was ordered by the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) in the US to relinquish the role for three years; the three-year period expires in November of this year, prompting speculation that Musk could move back into the chair later this year.
