Golden Arrow Resources Corporation has identified new anomalies on its Rosales copper property in Chile.
The junior resource company said that geophysical surveying had revealed a “more conductive and larger feature” below the near-surface conductivity anomalies reported in June 2021.
According to Golden Arrow, the earlier reported G1 and G2 conductivity anomaly targets cover 800 metres (m) by 500m and 600m by 400m at surface, respectively.

The new TEM sounding survey showed at least one zone of moderate conductivity within 250m of surface, which is interpreted to correlate with previously reported anomalies.
The vertical sections also detected a “more prominent” sub-horizontal conductor at nearly 500m depth, which looks more prominent below the G1 anomaly, according to Golden Arrow.
"We are very excited by this additional data from TEM soundings, which suggests a strata bound or mantos-style copper deposit model, which is further supported by the mineralization, alteration and host rocks identified to date at Rosales,” Brian McEwen, Golden Arrow’s vice president of exploration and development said in a statement.
“This type of high-grade copper deposit is common in Chile, with well-known examples, including the El Soldado and Mantos Blanco mines.”
Vancouver-based Golden Arrow also said it had secured a drill contract ahead of a planned 3,000m program to test the new targets. The program is expected to start in August with an initial 1,400m in four holes to test the upper and lower conductors and confirm the interpretation.
Rosales is a 3,444-hectare project, with another 900 hectares under application, in the Atacama region of Chile.
