BMEX Gold Inc (TSX-V:BMEX) has released a detailed overview of its 2H 2021 exploration plans for both the King Tut and Dunlop Bay properties located in Quebec.
Covering the next six months, BMEX has scheduled several drills and reconnaissance surveys for the projects that lie within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt.
The gold explorer has also appointed Robert Pryde as president and director of the company.

In its statement, BMEX noted that the company was fully funded for its 2021-2022 exploration programs. An overview of previous work completed earlier this year was also included, as well as highlights from the upcoming work.
During the first half of 2021, BMEX completed an inaugural 4,500-metre drill program at the King Tut property. According to the company, nearly every hole returned anomalous gold values related to quartz-carbonates veining, indicating that a hydrothermal gold-bearing system is hosted on the property.
Hole TUT-21-018 assayed 81.89 grams per ton gold over 0.45 meters and targeted the western edge of the known gold-bearing structure at King Tut, which left almost 2 kilometers of strike in the property to test westward.
A drone magnetic survey on the property was conducted in July as a follow-up to the drill program. Data is currently being processed and detailed magnetic maps can be expected in mid-August.
The new data will be correlated with previous drill results to identify key drill targets in collaboration with Laurentia Exploration.
In the Fall, BMEX has secured a turn-key service for a 3,000-meter drill program on the identified targets.
Into the new year, assay results from drill programs are anticipated, ahead of three-dimensional geological modeling utilizing the findings.
At the polymetallic Dunlop Bay, the company will review current data, conduct a drone magnetic survey and a field program, followed by data Integration and 3D geological modeling.
From there, a drill program will be finalized for Dunlop Bay.
On a corporate level, the Quebec-focused explorer has appointed Robert Pryde as president and director.
A seasoned geoscientist, Pryde brings almost four decades of experience in both the mining and energy exploration sectors to the roles.
Pryde has held various positions in both the junior mining and energy sectors. During his career, he has led and supported projects through various stages of exploration, from pre-discovery to development and production.
