Catenae Innovation Plc (AIM:CTEA, FRA:NZS0) said it has signed a collaboration agreement with material science and medical innovations specialist ProMake Ltd to become the exclusive provider of data management services.
Under the deal, Catenae said it will provide its services to ProMake to fulfil its position on the Public Health England (PHE) National Microbiology Framework, which is designed to support the newly formed UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the government's effort to provide a broad range of medical testing and diagnostic services for people in the UK.

Catenae added that it forms part of a ProMake-led consortium that has been awarded positions in Lot 2 (Research and Development Goods and Services) and Lot 4 (Clinical Laboratory Diagnostic Testing Services) of the PHE Framework Agreement.
The company said its role within the consortium will be to securely capture and process patient and test data, control access to that data in a compliant manner and provide reporting services through dashboards, mobile apps, web and blockchain technology.
Catenae also said that ProMake intends to automate all aspects of the supply chain from the manufacture, distribution and use of its Pre-Vent medical sampling tubes through to their ultimate disposal and that as part of this, the company will manage the data throughout that supply chain and where appropriate make the data available to individuals and organisations.
Under the deal, the company will also provide consulting services to a number of organisations including PHE, the Department of Health and Social Care, various NHS Trusts and local authorities to support ProMake.
Catenae added that while it is currently “premature” to provide any guidance as to the timing or value of the collaboration, it expects to give a more detailed update in the coming months.

"Our data management services can be successfully applied to a number of sectors and industries, with Covid-19 testing and related services a continued area of work for Catenae," the CEO added.
