XTEK Ltd (ASX:XTE), which provides products to deliver tailored solutions to the government, law enforcement, military, space and commercial sectors, has thanked retiring managing director Philippe Odouard for his service to the company after completing five years as a director.
Chairman Uwe Boettcher said: “I’d like to thank Mr Odouard for his contribution to XTEK over the past five years and in particular his involvement in the successful acquisition of HighCom Armor. I wish him well in retirement.”
Interim CEO appointed
XTEK has appointed Scott Basham as interim chief executive officer, effective immediately.
This decision has been made after taking into consideration the managing director’s retirement and a recent external strategic review of the company.
The company is focused on developing and commercialising its proprietary technologies by leveraging its established distribution network.
These technologies include XTclaveTM produced ballistic products and advanced composite solutions and XTatlasTM real-time contextual video, which provide unique solutions for western military forces and other government agencies.
In addition, the supply and maintenance of Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) remains a focus for XTEK.
