Snowline Gold Corp has revealed its first set of drill results from the Jupiter Zone on its Einarson project that confirmed the presence of near-surface gold mineralization.
Drilling at Jupiter intersected mineralization in all 15 of the holes drilled across 930 metres within a three-kilometre soil anomaly.
Assay results from five of the holes include 3.96 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 7.05 metres and 4.10 g/t gold over 4 metres.

According to Snowline, the mineralization is along a covered, regional scale structure. Step-out drill holes up to 930 metres along the trend “continue to hit mineralization,” the company said, with “even wider mineralized intervals” expected when assay results from the remaining holes come in.

"This blind discovery at the Jupiter Zone in our first-ever drill campaign is a remarkable achievement for the Snowline geology team,” Nikolas Matysek, Snowline’s CEO said in a statement. "We have consistently intersected mineralization in all 15 holes drilled to date and these initial assay results are a strong indication of the high-grade gold potential at Jupiter.”
Drilling at Jupiter will now focus on extending the as-yet unknown limits of the structure with immediate follow up drilling, Matysek added.
Snowline’s flagship 72,000 hectare Einarson and Rogue gold projects lie in the prospective yet underexplored Selwyn Basin of Canada’s Yukon Territory.
Vancouver-based Snowline is focused in the prolific Tintina Gold Province that hosts multiple million-ounce-plus gold mines and deposits, from Kinross' Fort Knox mine to Newmont's Coffee deposit.
