Dutch Cyclist wins Olympic silver medal in shirt printed by Directa Plus

The company has an EU patent for its G+ graphene nanoplatelets production process

Directa Plus PLC (AIM:DCTA, OTC:DTPKF, FRA:88K) noted that Annemiek van Vleuten of the Dutch Cycling Team won a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics in the road race wearing a shirt printed with the company's Thermal Planar Circuit technology.

The shirts for the Dutch National Cycling Team used a high performance print made using Directa Plus's sustainable G+® graphene. TPC absorbs the heat produced by the body, distributing it inside the garment and dissipating it by interacting with the surrounding environment.

"Congratulations to Annemiek and the Dutch National Cycling Team,” said Giulio Cesareo, founder and chief executive of Directa Plus. “We are thrilled to think that our customer's fabric could combine with our G+ technology at our factory at Lake Como to reach the podium in Tokyo."

In May, the AIM-listed company secured an EU patent for G+ graphene nanoplatelets production process.
