Tech minnow Mobile Streams appoints chairman with FTSE 100 oil experience

Bob Moore was with Enterprise Oil until its acquisition and then went on to set up his own independent E&P firm

Mobile Streams PLC (AIM:MOS) (LON:MOS), the £5mln content and data minnow, has appointed a new chairman with FTSE 100 oil experience.

Bob Moore was head of legal affairs at Enterprise Oil until its sale to Shell (LON:RDSA) in 2002.

After that, the qualified barrister then went on to co-found North Sea operator Granby Oil & Gas and has since founded and managed engineering and energy businesses.

His appointment was announced alongside that of Rama Uthayanan as finance director. Uthayanan currently fulfils the number-crunching role at Krunchdata, the company’s subsidiary.

Current chairman, Charles Goodfellow, is stepping back to become an independent director.
