PharmaDrug Inc will have a new look for traders starting in August.
The pharmaceutical company announced it is changing its Canadian ticker symbol from ‘BUZZ’ to ‘PHRX’ to better align with its strategy, it told investors in a statement.
Toronto-based PharmaDrug is a specialty pharmaceutical firm that zeros in on research, development and commercialization of controlled substances and natural medicines like psychedelics, cannabis and naturally-derived drugs.

"We are looking forward to trading under the new 'PHRX' symbol on the Canadian Stock Exchange," said Daniel Cohen, CEO of PharmaDrug.
"The new symbol directly aligns with the vision of the company and the path we foresee taking in order to continue adding significant value to our shareholders by developing and commercializing naturally derived medicines."
The new ticker symbol will take effect on August 3.
