Both the board and investors of Nuformix (LON:NFX) were surprised at the resignation of chief executive Dr Anne Brindley just seven months in the post.
Executive chairman Alastair Riddell tells Proactive London that the hunt for a new boss will not start until the readouts from the NXP002 and NXP004 programmes due in the fourth quarter of the year.
Riddell says the programmes are progressing well and, "If those readouts are positive I think that puts the company and its assets on a very firm footing."
