Miramar Resources
First to present will be Miramar Resources executive chairman Allan Kelly.
After listing on the ASX in October 2020, the company focused attention on its WA portfolio, in particular the flagship Gidgi Joint Venture in which it has an 80% interest.
The project, just 15 kilometres from the town of Kalgoorlie, is shaping up well and recent aircore drilling results have upgraded the prospects for gold at all four targets.
Outside of Gidji, the ASX-lister is exploring the Glandore and Randalls gold projects near Kalgoorlie, as well as the Lake Well, Lakeside and Garden Gully greenstone belt projects in the Murchison.
Up in the Gascoyne, Miramar’s Whaleshark and Bangemall projects are highly prospective for gold and nickel-copper-platinum group element (PGE) mineralisation.
Tietto Minerals
Next in line will be Tietto Minerals executive director Mark Strizek, who will outline the company's progress in its aim to be West Africa's next gold producer.
The explorer recently lifted its mineral resource at the Abujar Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire to 987.5 million tonnes at 1.2 g/t gold for 3.35 million ounces.
Its plans are to rapidly advance Abujar with an early work program comprising front end engineering and design (FEED), as well as site and camp construction currently underway targeting first gold at Abujar in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Predictive Discovery
To conclude the webinar, Predictive’s managing director Paul Roberts will discuss the importance of its latest ‘bonanza grades’ at the Bankan Gold Project in Guinea.
Results returned up to 17 metres at 31.9 g/t gold and 7 metres at 50.3 g/t, which sent the share price flying to as much as A$0.1475 intra-day – an increase of more than 55% from its previous close.
The company is currently working with a Senegal-based drill contractor to bring a truck-mounted aircore rig on to the site which will be employed during the rainy season to test the accumulating number of new targets over the past nine months.
