Altiplano Metals (CVE: APN) CEO Alastair McIntyre joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has begun the work to improve the ventilation system at the Farellon site in Chile. McIntyre telling Proactive the ventilation system involves the installation of a new 125 HP main exhaust fan, located in the northwest outside area of the mine, and three auxiliary fans located in the operational levels of the mine. The company expects to be done in the next few weeks and it will improve the health and well-being of the workers as the mine, improves operational efficiencies, and provides the opportunity to increase the amount of equipment and personnel working on each shift underground.
McIntyre also told Proactive they are about to start a drilling program as talks about where and what they are focussed on.
