Tracesafe Inc (CSE:TSF) has announced the release of a new contactless access control system designed in part to help facilitate safe cruise travel.
The new control system features integrated chipsets that can be programmed to open doors and assign access wirelessly for major cruise line deployments, according to TraceSafe.
It also integrates seamlessly with the Vancouver-based company’s suite of products and services as well as external systems so that customers can centralize all of their Internet of Things (IoT) technology.

Access control technology is a fast-growing sector that is projected to reach nearly US$2.9 billion by 2026, growing at a compound annual growth rate of over 24%.
TraceSafe said its new products with access control capability are compatible with the ASSA ABLOY’s Electronic Access Control System. ASSA ABLOY is a global company that operates in over 70 countries and has sales of more than US$10 billion.

TraceSafe has a portfolio of real-time location management services and contact tracing solutions enabled through advanced low-power Bluetooth beacons and enterprise cloud management.
