Nomad Royalty Company reveals preliminary 2Q revenue of US$4.6M on 2,577 gold equivalent ounces sold

The royalty company has delivered 8,152 ounces so far in 2021 for revenue of US$14.2 million

Nomad Royalty Company Ltd (TSE:NSR) (OTCQX:NSRXF) announced it had sold 2,577 gold equivalent ounces during its second quarter and 8,152 ounces so far in 2021.

The royalty company said it realized preliminary revenue of US$4.6 million for the quarter and $14.2 million throughout the year, resulting in a preliminary operating cash margin of US$4 million and $11.9 million respectively.

Gold deliveries were lower than the 5,575 ounces the company saw in the first quarter of 2021, primarily because of lower production from two of its mines.

The company noted that its first-quarter delivery included an annual supplemental delivery related to the minimum annual silver delivery from its Mercedes mine interest, which accounted for 1,998 gold ounces.

“During the second quarter of 2021, there have been many positive updates from Nomad's streams and royalties,” the Montreal-based company told investors in a statement.

In particular, Nomad highlighted announcements by Barrick Gold Corporation about the progression and potential initial production timeline at its Robertson operation.

At the Blackwater project, Nomad said that Artemis Gold Inc and Troilus Gold Corp raised over C$580 million to further advance the British Columbia-located project, and the Troilus gold project in Québec.

Additionally, during the quarter, Nomad released its first NI 43-101 technical report on the Blyvoor gold mine, detailing a 22-year mine life.

“Nomad is very encouraged from the operational progress at the Blyvoor gold mine and expects to see significant growth from the asset over the next quarters,” the company added.

The firm expects to release its full results for the second quarter on July 28 after market close.

Nomad owns a portfolio of 15 royalty and stream assets, eight of which, are on currently producing mines.
