TraceSafe Inc (CSE:TSF) (OTCMKTS:UTOLF) (FRA:1UZ) has announced that it will be the exclusive provider of wearable health and safety technology for the Calgary Stampede from July 9-18.
The company said wearable technology, in the form of ultra-light battery-powered wristbands, will be used by all competition athletes, rodeo staff and international travellers.
The Calgary Stampede is an annual rodeo, exhibition, and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta. The ten-day event, which bills itself as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth” has attracted over one million visitors in previous years.
The deployment follows TraceSafe's successes in other popular event venues, like Boston's TD Gardens and at the World Junior Hockey Championship earlier this year.

Calgary Stampede officials worked in consultation with leading event professionals, the Alberta health authorities, and TraceSafe to develop a discreet technology solution that will allow the event to proceed safely, the company said.
"We're excited to work with the Calgary Stampede organization and Alberta health authorities again as they oversee a successful and safe Calgary Stampede this year," TraceSafe’s vice president for sales Susanne MacKillop said in a statement.
"As the event organizers worked with their local health authorities, it was clear adding TraceSafe's wearable technology supported the additional measures required for this year's event,” she added.
