VR Resources Ltd (CVE:VRR) (OTCQB:VRRCF) (FRA:5VR) has said the second phase first-pass reverse circulation (RC) drill program at its Reveille silver-copper and gold property in Nevada has been completed, with four holes sunk for 1,552 metres (m) in less than two weeks.
The work also tested the Kawich anomaly that was delineated in an expanded geophysical survey completed in May and which is believed to be the potential source of the mineral system at Reveille.
VR’s CEO Dr Michael Gunning said the company was pleased to have the Phase I and II programs at Reveille completed this early in 2021 and was now eyeing further drill plans for the property.

"We tested the new IP anomaly at Kawich in the second two holes of the program. Both holes achieved depths of around 450m, and both intersected over 150 m intervals of sulfide, starting at 120 m depth, which was the modeled depth-to-top of the IP anomaly," Dr Gunning said.
Gunning noted that the key finding from this drill program was the intersection and confirmation of sulfide at both the IP anomalies tested.
"We do not anticipate the geochemical data from sampling until the end of the summer, but there is much work to do in the meantime integrating the drill logs, the structural data from down-hole televiewer technology, and the alteration mineral data from hyperspectral scanning utilized on this program," he added.
"We look forward to providing further updates as we receive geochemical data through the summer and formulate plans for further drilling which we now anticipate for Reveille based on our initial observations from this drilling," the CEO concluded.
The Reveille project lies around 90 kilometres east of Tonopah and consists of 93 mineral claims in one contiguous block covering 1,586 acres (642 hectares).
