Metal Tiger PLC (LON:MTR) says that exploration at both the Kitlanya West and East projects in Botswana is making progress.
At Kit-W, an airborne survey has been completed to assess new copper/silver targets. Diamond drilling has also got underway to test the first of the anomalies identified by the survey.
Geophysical data work had also identified potential additional copper/silver mineralisation, said the statement.
Drilling is also underway at Kit-E, with a total of 1,742m completed to date consisting 839m of reverse circulation (“RC”) and 903m of diamond core drilling.
Michael McNeilly, chief executive, said the high-resolution gravity and magnetic surveys had provided important new information in understanding the geology of the deposits.
Metal Tiger owns 50.01% of Kalahari Metals Limited, which holds twelve exploration licences in the Kalahari copper belt in Botswana.
