Voyager Life PLC (LON:VOY) has hailed as an “important new deal” its tie-up with independent pharmacy chain Inphaserve to which it will supply cannabidiol and hemp seed products.
The new partner has 30 outlets in Scotland and England and is part of the growing bricks-and-mortar and online presence Voyager is creating.
Its products can be bought in 40 independent stores and more than 20 third-party websites, including Amazon, eBay and Etsy.
The benefits of this expansion are already being seen with sales in June four times those of May.
Of the Inphaserve agreement, chief executive Nick Tulloch said: "This is an important new deal for Voyager with a partner that immediately recognised the quality of our products.
“We look forward to working with Inphaserve to distribute our CBD and hemp products across their network.”
He added that, following the company’s recent IPO, it now has a cash balance of around £2mln, meaning it is “well-positioned to build a diverse and robust demand pipeline of sales”.
"Forthcoming product releases and the opening of our store in St Andrews this month provides further opportunities for us to continue to increase our sales,” Tulloch went on.
“Alongside these new products, we will also be updating our branding and upgrading our website in the coming months."
