Tocvan Ventures reveals new drill results from Pilar gold-silver project that show potential to expand the Main Zone

Results from the six holes reported included 47.3m at 0.75 g/t gold and 5 g/t silver, or 0.80 g/t gold equivalent

Tocvan Ventures Corp (CSE:TOC) (FRA:TV3) unveiled new results from its Phase II drill program at its Pilar gold-silver project in Mexico that highlighted the potential to expand its Main Zone.

Results from the six holes reported included drill hole JES-21-47, which returned 47.3 metres (m) at 0.75 grams per ton (g/t) gold and 5 g/t silver, or 0.80 g/t gold equivalent.

Calgary-based Tocvan drilled 20 holes over 3,500m as part of its Phase II program.

Another hole returned 44.2m at 0.41 g/t gold and 4 g/t silver (0.45 g/t gold equivalent), including 7.6m at 1.7 g/t gold and 7 g/t silver.

“JES-21-47 is another significant step-out to our Main Zone, expanding the potential further southeast along trend,” Tocvan’s vice president exploration Brodie Sutherland said in a statement.

“With each hole, we learn a little more about how this system behaves, giving us more confidence to test our new target areas at Pilar. In addition, we are starting to see results for the 4-Trench Extension target and we are excited to have intersected 7.6m at 1.7 g/t Au, in one of our first holes in that area. With the conclusion of our Phase II drill program, we look forward to releasing the remaining results once available and begin planning for the next phase of program development.”

The Pilar property is a structurally-controlled, low-sulphidation epithermal project in Sonora, Mexico featuring three zones of identified mineralization referred to as the Main Zone, North Hill and 4-Trench.

The property has seen over 19,200m of drilling to date.
