Seeing Machines Limited (LON:SEE) said it signed an agreement with Airservices Australia which will see its technology integrated into the Air Traffic Control (ATC) environment.
The AIM-listed firm said the initial programme is valued at around A$250,000. The company will work with Airservices to develop and integrate head, eye and face tracking as well as related high-level signals including workload, fatigue and attention to support and optimise safe and effective controller performance in an “increasingly automated” ATC environment.

Seeing Machines added the collaboration will launch its capability into the “highly regulated and safety critical” console-based environment with a “key focus on the ‘human-in-the-loop’”.
"Having worked with Airservices for over five years on data collection and testing, including a feasibility study in their operational environment, I am delighted to progress to this commercial stage in our relationship”, Seeing Machines’ general manager of aviation Patrick Nolan said in a statement.
“Both companies are driven by a strong focus on safety and supporting the operator. I have confidence that this collaboration will provide a great solution for Airservices and enable a global capability to support console-based operations across any industry", he added.
