Tally Ltd said it ended 2020 with a stronger banking technology platform and organisational structure to take the next step in its business development.
The company, which has developed a full-reserve banking platform and a physical gold digital currency after which it is named, announced unaudited results for the six months to end-December.
Losses after tax were £697,794 compared to £693,615 a year earlier, even as it focused on increasing organisational capabilities and doubled its headcount to 14 full-time and six part-time team employees.
During the period Tally also completed its commercial-grade technology platform and smartphone app, adding levels of security, greater processing speed, new product functionality capacity and data management tools to realise its strategy for a global market for the tally currency and app.
Following completion of this stage of tech development, the company raised over £300,000 from issuing new shares and another £1.9m from the part-sale of an investment asset.
“Tally Ltd ended the period with a commercially robust banking technology platform and a growing organisational structure to progress the next phase of business development and strategy implementation," said chief executive Cameron Parry.
