Renforth Resources Inc (CSE:RFR) (OTCPINK:RFHRF) (FRA:9RR) told investors that it has completed the first hole of the June 2021 drill program at its Surimeau District battery metals project in Quebec and also reported positive sampling results from a hole drilled this year at its Parbec gold project.
The hole at Surimeau was completed to a length of 237.7 metres (m) in a successful bid to obtain a deeper intersection of mineralization and structure seen in a previous hole. The hole hit visual mineralization and core will be sampled and sent to the lab for assay.

Meanwhile, at Parbec, the company reported the result of additional sampling of core from one hole PAR-20-101, the second in its 15,569m drill program. The additional sampling meant the mineralized interval was extended to 31.5m at a grade of 0.69 grams per ton (g/t) gold, joining two previously released mineralized intervals.
"This extended interval commences at an approximate vertical depth of 164m, increasing the mineralization within the conceptual pit shell at Parbec which accompanies the May 2020 NI 43-101 Resource Estimate, which will be updated upon receipt of all the results from the 2020/21 drilling, there are 16 holes still to report upon," Renforth said in a statement.
Renforth's Parbec project has a 2020 resource estimate of 104,000 indicated ounces of gold at a grade of 1.78 g/t gold and 177,000 inferred ounces at 1.78 g/t gold.
This estimate is now considered by Renforth to be out of date due to the results received in a 15,569m drill program, which has been recently completed.
