Vicinity Motor Corp (CVE:VMC) (OTCQX:BUSXF) (FRA:6LG) CEO William Trainer tells Proactive its Vicinity Lightning electric vehicle bus, as well as its line of EV trucks, have received eligibility for customer rebates of up to 33% of the purchase price through the Canadian province of British Columbia's (BC) CleanBC Go Electric Program.
Trainer says the rebates, valued at between $40,000 to $100,000, are intended to spur adoption of EVs in British Columbia. He says he expects to see some real impact on the sales of the trucks from the incentives program.
