Xpediator PLC (LON:XPD), the freight management specialist, increased its financial guidance for the current year as strong trading continued.
Management believes the business can deliver full-year adjusted profit before tax in excess of £8.5mln.
While the logistics sector typically makes the majority of profits in the second half of the year, the AIM-listed company said that its confidence comes from the continuation of strong trading trends seen since early 2021 into June.
The company, which offers its services across the UK and Central and Eastern Europe, said demand for its services across all three divisions has been strong, with parts of the transport and logistics & warehousing divisions that were impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic now trading positively.
Chief executive Robert Ross said: “We have had a good first half which has positioned us well for a strong outcome for the full year. We are bringing the Group closer together unifying IT, people and brands, the benefits of which are starting to come through.”
