Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp (CVE:LIT) (OTCMKTS:PNXLF) (FRA:OAY3) has appointed John Gammon as a new director to its board.
The battery metals explorer said Gammon has four decades of experience in mineral exploration and management, including international positions with Falconbridge and the Assistant Deputy Minister Mines and Minerals with the Government of Ontario.
Following his retirement, Gammon continued as an industry consultant to the sector, governments and universities.

The new board member also offers expertise on environmental issues, as well as aboriginal community engagement.
As Argentina Lithium & Energy works to advance its properties in the Lithium Triangle, Gammon’s knowledge of the Spanish language and South American culture and societies is a welcome addition to the company.

As the company welcomes Gammon, Darren Urquhart will be resigning from the board. Urquhart will continue on as Argentina Lithium & Energy’s chief financial officer.
