Directa Plus PLC (LON:DCTA) said strong revenue growth seen in the first four months of 2021 has continued across the rest of its first half.
In a trading update ahead of its AGM on Wednesday, the maker of graphene nanoplatelets-based products said trading is in line with market expectations, highlighting that growth momentum is continuing in its environmental segment through its subsidiary Setcar. It is also benefiting from customer demand driven by higher prices for oil reclaimed from its remediation services.

Meanwhile, the company said it is “pleased” with progress being made in its batteries business through its partner NexTech.
Directa Plus added it is continuing to develop its production technology and suitable applications for its products, highlighting that its intellectual property (IP) portfolio now comprises 55 granted patents alongside “an ever-deeper base of know-how covering the core production technology as well as the products launched or being developed by customers”.
The firm added is continuing to explore new markets and is in negotiations with additional potential partners.
