Valeo Pharma Inc (CSE:VPH) (OTCQB:VPHIF) (FRA:VP2) has commercially launched its two Health Canada-approved asthma drugs, Enerzair Breezhaler and Atectura Breezhaler, across the country, which, the specialty pharma, said will immediately impact its financial performance and accelerate it in fiscal quarters to come.
"It marks the debut of the company's commercial efforts in the $700 million Canadian asthma market, one of Canada's largest therapeutic segments," said CEO Steve Saviuk in a statement.

"I am especially proud of our Valeo team that organized this major product launch less than three months after licensing the products from Novartis Pharmaceuticals Canada Inc."
Saviuk also highlighted that the move follows the successful launch of the anticoagulant drug Redesca in April this year.
Chief operating officer Frederic Fasano added: "We are very excited to start promoting and selling our first respiratory products. The establishment of our country-wide respiratory, medical and commercial infrastructure is well underway and it is driven by a team of highly skilled and experienced pharma professionals.
Fasano said seasoned executive Nelly Komari has also joined the group as vice-president scientific and medical affairs and will support the asthma product launches.
Around four million Canadians are living with asthma and potential exacerbations of the condition remain highly prevalent even with today's most advanced therapies.
Furthermore, there is growing evidence highlighting the lack of symptom control currently achieved in asthma, added Valeo.
Quebec-headquartered Valeo Pharma is focused on the commercialization of innovative prescription products in Canada, particularly respiratory diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, oncology and hospital specialty products.
