Power Metal Resources PLC (LON:POW) said soil samples from mapping on the Morula Target at South Ghanzi project in Botswana have confirmed a potential 12km strike.
Morula is now the highest priority exploration target at South Ghanzi, it added.
Paul Johnson, chief executive, said: "Today's news includes significant and positive project developments.
“At Morula we have confirmed a soil geochemistry anomaly of at least 12km strike length, presenting a considerable scale target, which also remains open at both ends.
"The exploration datasets from South Ghanzi have delineated very strong drill targets."
South Ghanzi is being developed through a 50/50 joint venture with Kavango Resources PLC (LON:KAV), which is the operator.
