Remote Monitored Systems unit agrees hydroponics supply deal

The eight specially formulated solutions will be produced by RMS’s subsidiary Pharm 2 Farm

Remote Monitored Systems PLC (LON:RMS) said it has signed an agreement with PIC Consultants to supply hydroponic nutrients in the UK.

The eight specially formulated solutions will be produced by RMS’s subsidiary Pharm 2 Farm using patented nano-particles.

The technology allows plants to grow in the absence of soil while promoting greater nutrient take-up, leading to more sustainable crops with increased yields and longer shelf life.

RMS said the breakthrough garnering “significant interest” as it has been “demonstrated to be an improved alternative to common mineral fertilisers”, including ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) chelates.

Chairman Antony Legge said: "We are delighted to have entered into this agreement with PIC which reflects the excellent demand we perceive for Pharm 2 Farm's high-quality nano particles in the hydroponics sector and also demonstrates the breadth of applications where our nanoparticles can benefit the end-user.

“We very much look forward to working with PIC to develop the market opportunities for these high-quality nutrients."
