Renforth Resources discovers more high-grade gold at its Parbec deposit in Quebec; provides Surimeau project update

Drill results included 12.6 metres grading 4.39 grams per tonne gold

Renforth Resources Inc (CSE:RFR) (OTCPINK:RFHRF) (FRA:9RR) has reported additional drill results from its Parbec open-pit gold deposit in Quebec, which includes 12.6 metres (m) grading 4.39 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.

The company said it expects that the drill results will have a positive impact on the upcoming resource restatement for Parbec, which is scheduled to take place after the receipt of all outstanding assay data.

Renforth noted there are still 16 drill holes to be received and reported on from the 15,569m drill program at Parbec.

The company pointed out that hole PAR-21-128 was drilled as a downdip extension hole within the 'Camp Zone' portion of the Parbec deposit, successfully extending mineralization seen in PAR-17-67, which assayed 26.5m of 0.64 g/t gold, downdip by about 80m vertically.

As well, Renforth Resources announced that both prospecting and drilling are underway at its wholly-owned Surimeau nickel/copper/zinc project in Quebec.

The company said about 1,000m of drilling is planned, which will likely be four holes, with the hole drilled to the north attempting to obtain depth extension of the mineralization seen in the Spring 2021 drilling.

Prospecting at Surimeau to date has focused on the Victoria West target area, in which surface mineralization was discovered, and the Lalonde target area located about 3 kilometres north of Victoria West.

Renforth said during the drill program at Victoria West earlier this year its field geologist noted similarity between the drilled rock at Victoria West and previously prospected rock at Lalonde.

Renforth Resources is a Quebec-focused small-cap explorer, which owns 100% of its flagship Parbec gold project - one of the last un-mined gold deposits on Canada’s prolific Cadillac Break fault.

The asset boasts a 2020 assessed open pit gold resource of 104,000 Indicated gold ounces at 1.78 g/t and an Inferred resource of 177,000 ounces of gold also at 1.78 g/t.
