Fidelity Minerals Corp (CVE:FMN) (FRA:S5GM) (OTCMKTS:SAIDF), the Peru-focused project generator, has reported encouraging exploration results from its wholly-owned Las Brujas gold property, where it is following up on 2020 surface sampling.
Assays for 433 samples, which were recently collected, have now been received and included 36 samples, which showed anomalous gold ranging from 0.1 grams per ton (g/t) to 0.96 g/t gold, the company said.
Highlight intersects during this year's campaign were 0.96 g/t of the yellow metal over 1.3 metres (m), 0.45 g/t gold over 3.5m and 0.41 g/t gold over 3.5m.

At Las Brujas in total, 1,223 samples have now been collected, with 493 having been collected since February 2, 2021, within the Las Brujas Gold 2 and Tongod II concessions.
Last year, sampling isolated a notable 50m by 100m area comprising a tectonic breccia rock that is gold anomalous. From this area, a 5m true width channel sample returned 2.8 g/t gold.
Fidelity also noted that the gold mineralization was characterized by copper concentrations that vary from 29 to 647 parts per million (ppm), while lead and zinc concentrations reach up to 751 ppm lead and 539 ppm zinc respectively within the gold-enriched samples.
"The company is continuing its geological mapping and sampling program heading north from the Las Brujas Gold 2 concession as access is negotiated with landowners," Fidelity added. "Future work may also include a drone airborne magnetic survey to finish covering the Las Brujas Gold 2 concession and expanding it to the Las Brujas Gold and Las Brujas Gold 1 concessions, and an Induced Polarization (IP) survey that would help define the underground continuity of the gold mineralized zones observed on the concessions."
