Teleradiology specialist Medica Group PLC (LON:MGP) said its positive start to 2021 has continued.
The comment was made by chairman Roy Davis ahead of the firm’s annual meeting later Wednesday.
The past year has been a transformational one for the business following the implementation of a number of initiatives and the completion of three key deals.
Medica has brought in augmented intelligence to the process of assessing x-rays and scans, which, alongside a significant upgrade to its technology platform, provides the “strong foundations for future growth”, investors will be told.
The group has also completed two significant transactions – the acquisitions of Global Diagnostics Ireland and sRadMD. And it has increased its potential reporter capacity through its Australian joint venture, MedX.
“The board looks forward to seeing and supporting further execution of the company's strategy during the rest of 2021 and hopes that, as the continued success of COVID immunisation programmes reduces pressure on healthcare systems, the company's positive start to 2021 continues," Davis will tell the AGM later.
