BATM Advanced Communications Ltd (LON:BVC, TASE:BVC) has landed a US$4.1mln cybersecurity contract from an unnamed “long-standing government defence department customer”.
The technology group said it will provide both hardware and software under the agreement, which starts immediately.
“The recurring contracts show the customer's satisfaction with our cybersecurity products and services and demonstrate the benefits that our solutions bring,” said Dr Zvi Marom, BATM chief executive.
“We are also integrating our cyber solution into our NFV [network function virtualisation] product and developing a version aimed beyond the defence industry, which we expect to release by the beginning of next year. This will enhance the appeal of our cyber solution to our NFV clients.”
