Frontier IP Group PLC (LON:FIPP) said its portfolio company, Nandi Proteins, appointed David Flower as its new chief executive.
The intellectual property commercialisation firm said Flower is the former managing director (MD), Europe, for Boon Rawd Brewery, the maker of Singha beer, as well as MD for home baking at Kerry Foods.

He also serves as a non-executive director at Jack & Bry, a developer of jackfruit-based meat-free pepperoni pizza toppings, burgers and sausages.
"I am delighted to be taking this leadership role for Nandi Proteins at such a crucial time in the Company's development. Against a backdrop of increasing consumer awareness of how important a healthy diet is and of the role of proteins within it, the Nandi offering is very relevant. Be it gluten replacements, fat substitutes, or others, Nandi's technology will become part of the functional protein landscape", Flower said in a statement.
Frontier said Flower is joining Nandi at “an important stage” as the investee scaled up its first commercial products to create a wide range of customised ingredients based on vegetable and animal proteins.

We are delighted that David, with his long and broad experience in the food industry, has decided to join the Company to oversee its future success", added Frontier IP CEO Neil Crabb.
Shares in Frontier were 1.9% lower at 98.6p in early deals on Monday.
