Mining Capitals' Alastair Ford talks about his recent trip to Cornwall as 'one of world's greatest historic mining regions, famously productive of tin and before that copper'.
He tells presenter Katie Pilbeam 'it's coming back into fashion'.
Cornish Lithium is one of the companies taking advantage of the regions resurgence, the firm recently reported the successful completion of the construction of its United Downs Geothermal Water Test Site in Cornwall. Ford also went to see the South Crofty tin mine 'which could be shortly ready to come intro production'.
Cornish Metals is the owner of the mine and issued an updated mineral resource estimate for part of its South Crofty tin mine yesterday, which the chief executive said showed an increase from about 45,000 tonnes of tin to about 65,000 tonnes.
