Kainantu Resources achieves dual-listed status with its Frankfurt Stock Exchange debut

The company is trading under the ticker symbol 6J0

Kainantu Resources Ltd (CVE:KRL) (FRA:6J0), an Asia-Pacific focused gold mining company, announced that its shares have been accepted for listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE) and commenced trading on June 9 under the symbol "6J0".

The FSE is one of the world's leading international stock exchanges by revenue, profitability and market capitalization, and is the largest of Germany's stock exchanges. Kainantu’s common shares are also listed on the TSX venture exchange.

Having been admitted to the FSE, KRL is making a submission for listing on Tradegate, a stock exchange founded in Berlin in 2001. Such a move would increase trading access for investors in Australasia (Australia, New Zealand and surrounding islands) and Asia, among others.

"Trading on the FSE provides the company with direct access to the European capital markets and an opportunity for the company to increase trading liquidity and facilitate investment by expanding our shareholder base,” CEO Matthew Salthouse said in a statement.

Kainantu Resources, based in Vancouver, operates two highly prospective gold projects in a premier mining region, the high-grade Kainantu gold district of Papua New Guinea.

Both of the company’s projects, KRL North and KRL South, show potential to host high-grade epithermal and porphyry mineralization.
