Esports Entertainment Group Inc (NASDAQ:GMBL) announced that its Helix eSports gaming center division has struck a multi-channel partnership with gaming glasses provider GUNNAR Optiks.
The North Bergen, New Jersey-based esports and online gambling company said the partnership will see Helix eSports facilities pilot a center-based, retail experience for GUNNAR's gaming and computer glasses, which will become a marketing partner across all Helix properties and programming.
“We believe we can create the best possible guest experience by offering all Helix customers our uniform, high-end gaming equipment, as well as giving access to sophisticated accessories that help drive better gaming performance,” Esports Entertainment VP of Business Development Murphy Vandervelde said in a statement.

“GUNNAR is a critical differentiator in elevating our offerings and our player's gameplay over the competition,” Vandervelde added.
Helix eSports owns five esports centers, including two of the five largest centers in the US, offering a variety of experiences including casual play, competitive tournaments, science-technology-engineering and mathematics (STEM) programming, high school leagues, large groups, and esports bootcamps.
Helix’s centers host monthly tournaments, unique experiences and exclusive retail offerings.
GUNNAR holds a combined US patent for its lens technology, which is engineered to combat digital eyestrain and block blue light.
Esports Entertainment is a licensed online gambling company focused on the growing world of professional video gaming - and the only esports company currently listed on the tech-dominated Nasdaq.
Much like traditional sports gamblers betting on their favorite teams, Esports Entertaiment’s proprietary Player-to-Player (P2P) wagering system allows e-sports fans and enthusiasts to bet against one another in support of their favorite ePremiere League (ePL) teams. The ePL is a partnership between Electronic Arts and the English Premier League, which is the most-watched sports league in the world.
