GR Silver Mining Ltd (CVE:GRSL) (OTCQB:GRSLF) (FRA:GPE) announced a blockbuster new high-grade silver intersection from the La Colorada vein on its Plomosas silver project.
The company intersected 9 metres (m) at 946 grams per ton (g/t) silver equivalent from 170m, including 0.65m at 10,777 g/t silver equivalent from 176.9m.
Other highlights included 6.9m at 467 g/t silver equivalent from 29.6m, including 2.1m at 1,306 g/t from 32.3m, and 2.1m at 492 g/t silver equivalent from 66.8m.

The La Colorada vein is a hydrothermal breccia that contains gold-silver-lead-zinc values in a mineralized quartz and hematite matrix on the San Juan target at Plomosas, located in the Rosario mining district of Mexico.
"The results from the 2021 surface drilling program at the La Colorada Vein are very encouraging,” CEO Marcio Fonseca said in a statement.
“La Colorada, together with the San Juan and Yecora veins, continue to deliver near-surface, high-grade silver and gold results over significant widths. These results are being incorporated into the maiden San Juan Area resource estimation, expanding the mineralized zones along strike and down dip."
To date, GR Silver has released results from 368 surface and underground drill holes from Plomosas, including from the San Juan Area. The results are being incorporated into a 3D model for resource estimation.
