Panthera Resources says several targets identified for follow up drilling at the Bassala gold project

A drill rig is being sought to begin work before the start of the wet season

Panthera Resources PLC -

Panthera Resources PLC (LON:PAT) announced the completion of an induced polarisation (IP) survey at the Bassala gold project in southern Mali and said it had identified several targets for follow up drilling.

The AIM-quoted company said it is looking to source a drill rig and to begin drilling before the start of the wet season.

“We have been highly encouraged by the identification of several well-defined chargeability highs at Bassala, over extensive zones, which are often associated with gold in soil anomalies and/or artisanal mining activity,” said managing director Mark Bolton.

“While the project is in its early stage, Bassala is already yielding strong encouragement,” he said.
