Predictmedix set to deploy its Safe Entry Stations at the Italian Contemporary Film Festival

Predictmedix’s Safe Entry Stations utilize a proprietary artificial intelligence algorithm to provide a rapid, robust, and non-invasive screening, including multi-symptom detection of infectious diseases, such as COVID-19

Predictmedix Inc (CSE:PMED) (OTCQB:PMEDF) announced it will deploy the company’s Safe Entry Stations to rapidly screen patrons and staff at the Italian Contemporary Film Festival’s (ICFF) Lavazza Drive In to be held in Ontario from June 27 to July 17.

Predictmedix’s Safe Entry Stations utilize a proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm to provide a rapid, robust, and non-invasive screening, including multi-symptom detection of infectious diseases, such as coronavirus (COVID-19).

“With vaccinations on the rise, we are starting to witness what a return to normal could look like. It is important for us to exercise caution, and we're proud to partner with ICFF to ensure safety is paramount for all participants and visitors,” Predictmedix chief operating officer Rahul Kushwah said in a statement.

ICFF has grown to become one of the largest Italian film festivals outside of Italy, with the Lavazza Drive-In Film Festival drawing an audience of more than 20,000 people in the cities of Toronto, Vaughan and Markham with last year’s launch.

The company noted the Safe Entry Stations deployment marks the third of its kind in the live event space, expanding Predictmedix’s offerings into a new industry vertical.

Previous deployments included a series of VIP parties at the Super Bowl in February as well as a recently-announced partnership for HockeyFest, a travelling hockey tournament slated to begin July 9 and hosted throughout North America.

Toronto-based Predictmedix is an artificial intelligence (AI) company developing disruptive tools for impairment testing and healthcare.

Amid the current COVID-19 pandemic, the team realized the same multi-spectral imaging and AI methods could be deployed to identify virus symptoms and has developed its Safe Entry Stations. People walk through modules (like a tunnel) linked to cloud software and, within fractions of a second, a green or red light appears, identifying those who are exhibiting symptoms.
