Mindset Pharma Inc. (CSE: MSET) (OTCQB: MSSTF) CEO James Lanthier and Chief Scientific Officer Joseph Araujo tell Proactive the Toronto, Canada-based psychedelic medicines-focused group has chosen its lead clinical candidate, MSP-1014, to move forward into current good manufacturing practice and IND enabling studies.
Lanthier and Araujo say MSP-1014 is a psilocybin-based compound from its Family 1 of novel, patent-pending psychedelic compounds, and should be 'cheaper and easier' to manufacture than psilocybin. Araujo expects to be in the clinic with the compound by Q2 of 2022.
