Australian Potash appoints Michelle Blandford to company secretary role

The company's VTEM survey identified six modelled conductive plates forming three separate high priority target areas at the Laverton Downs Project.

Australian Potash Ltd (ASX:APC) has appointed Michelle Blandford as company secretary.

Blandford brings considerable experience to APC in the areas of corporate governance and company administration across the mineral resources sector.

Australian Potash managing director and CEO Matt Shackleton said Blandford had worked in corporate affairs for mining and resource companies for more than a decade.

“With specialist experience in corporate governance and company administration, Ms Blandford will significantly bolster our governance team as we step into our construction and production phase.”

Resignation

In line with the transition strategy centred on the Lake Wells SOP Project, Scott Nicholas has resigned as a joint company secretary but continues as chief financial officer.

Stephen Buckley has also resigned as a joint company secretary.

The board wishes Buckley success with his future endeavours and thanks him for his valuable contribution during this transition period.

Laverton Downs diamond drilling

With the Lake Wells project advancing, Australian Potash has also begun mobilising to site at its Laverton Downs Project ahead of a diamond drilling program.

Priority targets have been determined by Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) surveying while 450 shallow legacy drill holes have also been located and sampled.

Nickel sulphide fertile komatiite rocks were interpreted from geochemistry as part of a detailed project evaluation by CSA Global.

This all available data including regional datasets, detailed magnetic data and high precision geochemical assay results derived from bottom of hole drill samples.

Additional sampling of legacy drilling bottom of hole spoils has expanded the geochemistry footprint and added to the existing interpretation.
