archTIS Ltd (ASX:AR9) is set to expand deployment of its cloud technology platform for the secure collaboration of sensitive information with the Australian Department of Defence.
A new one-year contract, worth $578,000, will see archTIS’s Kojensi platform deployed across the department, allowing users to collaborate on sensitive files within a highly secure system.
Breaking the contract down, $264,000 will cover the cost of an annual Kojensi software licence, while the remaining $314,000 will pay for hardware and services.
The contract will end in June 2022.
Making a name in defence
archTIS CEO and managing director Daniel Lai said: “We have stated over the last 12 months that Defence and the Defence Industry are a primary target for our commercial growth.
“It is pleasing to see the rate of growth for Kojensi and NC Protect in this critical, well-funded market of national security.
“archTIS continues to be a zero-trust provider to Defence and Defence industry at a time when it has never been more important to securely share information.
“The trust Defence clients place in our products should provide strong levels of confidence to commercial clients who also need to address the threats and risks of the sharing of their digital information across their partners and supply chain.”
Shares have been as much as 11.8% higher this morning to A$0.285.
