Elementos Limited (ASX:ELT) (OTCMKTS:ELTLF) (FRA:9EM) continues to confirm significant zones of mineralisation in the current drilling campaign at its flagship Oropesa Tin Project in Spain.
The company is on track to complete the drilling program objectives with 77% drill holes completed with the program reduced to 44 holes from 48 following a refinement process.
"Robust" knowledge
Chief executive officer Joe David said: “The confirmation of the tin mineralisation continuity at Oropesa provides strong support that the company’s geological knowledge of the deposit is robust."

David added: “This continued confirmation has led to the recent announcement by the company to commence feasibility development programs on the project whilst the drilling program is in its final stages.”
The latest drilling results from five holes (in addition to 22 diamond drill holes previously reported from the program) highlight significant zones of tin mineralisation, including:
- 12.5 metres at 0.8% tin from 36.3 metres;
- 6.7 metres at 0.31% from 67.1 metres;
- 15.9 metres at 0.28% from 100.6 metres;
- 9 metres at 0.3% from 84.6 metres;
- 10.1 metres at 0.24% from 124.1 metres;
- 16.5 metres at 0.23% from 19.4 metres;
- 5.5 metres at 0.39% from 42.7 metres;
- 22.9 metres at 0.28% from 6.1 metres;
- 8.6 metres at 0.21% from 59 metres; and
- 22.6 metres at 0.23% from 69.4 metres.
Drill program 77% complete
The three objectives of the drilling are to increase the confidence of existing inferred resources into indicated resources, confirm near-surface, possibly fault-controlled mineralisation that is currently not included in the 2017 geological resource model, and to test for additional near-surface resources from exploration targets identified from Induced Polarisation (IP) geophysical survey anomalies.
The company revised the proposed drilling program based on a review of information obtained from the drilling program to date, reducing it to 44 drill holes but adding an extra 270 metres of drilling (totalling 5,270 metres) due to the inclusion of two deeper resource conversion drill holes.
A total of 34 (77%) drill holes had been completed with assays received for 27 of the completed drill holes.
Shares have been as much as 10% higher intra-day to A$0.022.
