Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX:RTR) (FRA:20Z) has fielded new high-grade reverse circulation (RC) results pointing to a large-scale zinc-lead-silver system at the Earaheedy Project in Western Australia.
New drill results at Chinook prospect include 23 metres at 4.1% zinc and lead from 103 metres at a 0.5% zinc+lead cut-off, including 17 metres at 5.21% and 6.2 g/t silver from 103 metres with a 2% zinc+lead cut-off.
Other results are:
- 18 metres at 3.06% from 56 metres at 0.5% cut-off, including 9 metres at 5.3% and 6.6 g/t silver from 64 metres at 2% cut-off;
- 11 metres at 3.98% from 68 metres at 0.5% cut-off, including 6 metres at 6.57% and 16 g/t silver from 69 metres at 2% cut-off; and
- 38 metres at 1.12% from 38 metres at 0.5% cut-off, including 7 metres at 4.05% and 5.3 g/t silver from 48 metres at 2% cut-off.
At the Magazine prospect, Rumble returned 20 metres at 1.58% zinc and lead from 140 metres to the end of hole, including 10 metres at 2.52% and 2.5 g/t silver from 143 metres.
Detailed geological, airborne magnetic and multi-element interpretation of the latest results has highlighted multiple extensional faults underlying the defined mineralisation at Chinook Prospect and throughout the entire Earaheedy Project, highlighting its scale potential.

Potential for large-scale open-cut mining
The company said the Chinook prospect alone had the potential to be at the upper end of Rumble’s first-stage exploration target, based on consistent grades (between 4-5% zinc and lead) up to 34 metres vertical, open in all directions and up to 1.2 kilometres in width.
With the new geological information at Chinook there is now potential for oxide and sulphide large-scale open-cut mining scenarios and high-grade underground operations close to the extension faults.
Rumble believes it is only at the start of uncovering the scale of the major zinc-lead discovery at Chinook, having only completed 2,653 metres of drilling in the current stage.
The next stage of drilling sees the commencement of a major 30,000-metre drill program to extend the discovery and scope out potential resources at the discovery.
Rumble recently completed a $40 million capital raise that will fund the major drilling program and advancement of the Earaheedy JV Project.
These results to date, only partially testing 2 kilometres of the 45 kilometres of prospective mineralised strike, have highlighted the potential to delineate multiple very large-scale zinc-lead SEDEX style (tier 1) deposits throughout the entire Earaheedy Project.
Next steps
Rumble has started a major 30,000-metre diamond and RC drilling program designed to scope the recent Earaheedy discovery over a strike of >12 kilometres and open in all directions.
Drilling will also test the potential for higher-grade zinc-lead corridors associated with inferred extension faults.
The Earaheedy project is about 110 kilometres north of Wiluna, Western Australia, with Rumble holding 75% of E69/3464 and Zenith Minerals Ltd (ASX:ZNC) 25%.
